A doctor a day keeps the Apple away

Self Introduction

I'm a Freelancer specialized in Solaris Engineering and Support. I have more than 23 years experience working with and for Solaris -  including Solaris 2.6, Solaris 7, Solaris 8, Solaris 9, Solaris 10, Solaris 11, and OpenSolaris (with very good experience in Cluster products [Veritas Cluster 4.x - 7.x], Volume Manager [VxVM, SDS/SVM, ZFS]  and install procedures like jumpstart, wanboot, etc) and  the Solaris 10 features, like dtrace, SMF, new boot methods, new IP stack, etc.  I also have longtime experience using Solaris and Virtualization  - like Zones, LDoms, Domains (SunFire 10K - 15K), Dynamic Domains (M5000, etc), VirtualBox, QEMU, kvm, VMware, and Xen.
Since about 13 years I also work with Linux (mostly with RHEL) in productive environments.

If you need support for your projects you can contact me via email at Bernd.Schemmer@gmx.de

My CV in German language is available here.
